Torcon, Inc. is pleased to announce that Phil Centineo, Jr. has earned his Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) credential from the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE), a personal membership group of the American Hospital Association (AHA).
The objective of the CHC credential is to help the healthcare industry improve their facilities by hiring the most knowledgeable and experienced healthcare construction professionals who are responsible for designing safe and efficient buildings to deliver healthcare services.
As a CHC professional, Phil understands the unique challenges of healthcare businesses, is familiar with the regulations and guidelines for healthcare construction environments, and offers insight that helps guide healthcare projects to a successful conclusion.
Phil is a career-long Torcon employee, with 33 years of experience. For the past fifteen years, Phil has managed Torcon’s construction and renovation operations at The Valley Hospital as Project Director, overseeing projects at both the Ridgewood and Paramus sites. He is responsible for overall project planning and coordination, direction of Torcon’s staff, development of preconstruction phase project plans, schedules and budgets, and construction-phase field execution.
