NewsNovember 15, 2011Torcon Energy Services to Enter Joint Venture for Development of 4 MW Solar PV System Torcon Energy Services (TES) and KDC Solar, LLC have created a Joint Venture to develop a 4 MW ground-mounted solar PV system on approximately 20 acres of property owned by CentraState Medical Center in Freehold, New Jersey. KDC/TES has entered into a 15-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with CentraState for a PV system that will generate over 5,471,000 kWh of power annually. The system is expected to provide the medical center with more than 24 percent of its annual energy usage. TES will provide oversight and construction management services for the installation of the solar PV system. The project is scheduled to begin construction in the 2nd quarter of 2012. |
