Torcon Energy Services names Robert M. Gerard Managing
Director
Red Bank, NJ (February 7, 2011) — Red Bank-based construction services company Torcon, Inc. has
chosen Robert M. Gerard, C.H.M.M. to serve as Managing Director of Torcon Energy Services. Prior to
his appointment, Mr. Gerard was the Chief Marketing Officer of Birdsall Services Group and primary
architect of the firm’s energy practice. He began his career as the founder of EnviroData Associates,
Inc. and later served for more than a decade as a Partner with PMK Group.
In his capacity as Managing Director, Mr. Gerard will be directly responsible for the development,
design, and construction of sustainable energy projects, along with implementing energy strategies for
clients in the private and public sectors. He will also be responsible for assisting Torcon’s corporate
marketing and business development practice and will participate in the firm’s strategic planning
activities.
Torcon has provided sustainable building and project management services to its clients as part of their
LEED-certified projects in industries that include pharmaceutical, higher education, healthcare,
office/retail, manufacturing, and government. Torcon Energy Services (TES) will deliver expanded
sustainable energy solutions, including development, design, management, construction and operation,
for both private and public sector facilities.
Mr. Gerard currently serves as a Board Member of Monmouth Medical Center, New Jersey Alliance for
Action; Monmouth Conservation Foundation; and the Independent College Fund of New Jersey. He is
also former Chairman of the Monmouth Medical Center Foundation Board of Trustees and is a current
Board member.
