Princeton University Whitman College
New construction of a 230,000 sq. ft. residential
college designed in the collegiate gothic style including
the use of historically accurate materials, such has hand-set
stone, limestone window surrounds and slate roofing. The facility
will house 500 students within interconnected buildings that
include support areas (kitchen/servery and dining facility,
library, theater, music rooms and study halls.) Ten
adjacent buildings, including seven dormitories and a 100-ft.
tall tower with seminar and class rooms. Largest construction
project in the University’s history.
Columbia University
New Geochemistry Building
Located on Columbia University's Lamont-Doherty
Earth Observatory campus, the new 60,000 sq. ft. geochemistry
building will feature a mix of labs and administrative spaces.
The research wing will include Mass Spectrometer Labs, Wet Chemistry
Labs and Instrument Labs, as well as other specialized laboratories.
Construction also includes an Indoor chiller plant with remote
cooling tower, a remote emergency generator with a weather tight
enclosure, a boiler plant and an acid neutralization system.
Columbia is seeking LEED silver level certification for the
new building.
Rutgers University
Law School Addition & Renovation
Addition and renovation to the existing Rutgers
Law School in Camden. Includes a 68,000 sq. ft. addition with
brick, masonry and glass façade. Two-level connecting
pedestrian bridge over 5th Street to existing University building.
Office space, auditorium-style classrooms, new lobby, library
upgrades, fire alarm upgrades and courtroom. Renovation to 90,000
sq. ft. of existing space; demolition of 40,000 sq. ft. building.
Villanova University
New College of Nursing
New 75,000 sq. ft facility for the College
of Nursing. The four-story space includes classrooms,
laboratory spaces, faculty offices, and associated student
spaces. Features a multi-story lobby atrium with slate
flooring and stone and wood paneling, 200-seat auditorium
and 200-seat tiered lecture hall, which are both located off
of the main entrance. All classrooms feature full A/V systems,
touch-panel operated, Internet access, and videoconferencing.
A LEED registered building.
Monmouth University
Multi-Purpose Activity Center
The Multipurpose Activity Center project includes a 153,000 sq. ft. facility with two basketball courts, a Fitness Center, 200M six-lane indoor track with jumping pits, locker rooms for all sports, bookstore, Hall of Fame, lobby with 3 ticket windows, Booster Club, Training Rooms, and infrastructure for television and signage. Additional work to be completed are the resurfacing of Kessler Field running track, relocation and upgrade of high voltage, and parking lot, sidewalks, drainage and site lighting renovations.
