There are many reasons why businesses throughout the world continue to focus on energy. The most common is simply cost. Energy prices have risen steadily over the last decade, with no clear end in sight. Some believe the focus on energy is driven by national security in an attempt to reduce our dependence on foreign energy sources. Others are committed to being good corporate citizens and leaders in establishing environmental stewardship programs.

At Torcon Energy Services (TES), our role is to assist businesses in satisfying their goals when addressing energy and the sustainable environment. We recognize there are multiple strategies that can be implemented and a variety of ways to finance them. Our approach is to first understand our customer's energy profile to determine the proper path towards implementation.

TES's experience allows us to identify opportunities on both the demand side as well as the supply side of the energy meter. We constantly recommend energy efficiency improvements that result in reduced energy usage and ultimately long-term, reduced energy costs. Once these costs are reduced, there is a continuing need for an actively-managed energy program, including energy procurement, which addresses volatility in the energy markets. Torcon’s holistic approach to energy management often incorporates an on-site energy source, such as renewable energy, which will further reduce costs, greenhouse gas emissions, and reliance on the local utility.
