Executive Oversight

Steve Kessler, P.E.
General Manager – Torcon Management Services
Mr. Kessler has more than 25 years of engineering and project management experience, including 18 years with Torcon. He earned his B. S. degree in civil engineering from Lehigh and his MBA from Rutgers. Mr. Kessler is also a licensed Professional Engineer and has made presentations on construction technology and safety at industry conferences.

Mr. Kessler was a project manager and director of engineering with Torcon and now oversees operations for Torcon Management Services. This division within the broader Torcon organization focuses on delivering construction management, preconstruction and owner's rep services to customers on projects with durations and intensity that do not demand full-time teams.

 

Steve Schwarz 
Director of Projects – Torcon Management Services
Mr. Schwarz has two decades of management and engineering experience with Torcon. After earning a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Lehigh University, he began his career in the helicopter design and manufacture industry. At Torcon, Mr. Schwarz's diverse experience has ranged over a variety of field- and office-based assignments specializing in hospital and pharmaceutical laboratory projects. In 1999, he used this experience to contribute to the growing Preconstruction Services department in the role of Project Manager. As Director of Projects, he oversees conceptual estimates, detailed estimates, scheduling, value engineering, constructability design reviews and procurement services.
